How to complain

  • About a member: the quickest way is "Report" on their profile or in your chat. Every report gets a reference number, and reporting also blocks them for you.
  • Anything else: email the Grievance Officer at our Help centre, or use the Help centre. Please include your member ID (or the email you signed up with), what happened, and any links, screenshots or report references.

What happens next

  • We acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours.
  • Intimate images and impersonation: content showing a person nude or in a sexual act, or impersonating someone, reported by that person or someone on their behalf, is removed within 2 hours. Choose "Intimate photos or videos of me shared without my consent" or "Someone is pretending to be me or another real person" when you report, so it reaches the right person at once.
  • Complaints about content that breaks the law or our rules are acted on within 36 hours.
  • We resolve every other complaint within 7 days, and tell you what we did.
  • Reports about someone who may be under 18, threats of violence or sexual content are reviewed first.

If you are not satisfied

You may appeal our Grievance Officer's decision to the Grievance Appellate Committee set up by the Government of India, within 30 days of the decision. For complaints about your personal data, you may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
