DateMate Social is for meeting people with respect. These guidelines apply to your profile, your photos and every message you send. Breaking them can get your account removed.
Be yourself
- Use your own, recent photos and your real first name and age.
- One account per person. You must be 18 or over.
- Be honest about what you are looking for.
Be kind
- No harassment, bullying, threats, stalking or hate of any kind, including about religion, caste, gender, sexuality, body or background.
- If someone isn't interested, let it go. Passing and unmatching are normal.
Consent always
- Ask before talking about sex or sending anything explicit. Never send or share intimate images without consent.
- No nudity or sexual content in profile photos.
No money, no business
- Never ask anyone for money, gifts, loans or investments, for any reason.
- No promotions, selling, recruiting, paid services or links to other sites.
- No sugar dating, escorts or paid arrangements: never offer or ask for dates, company or intimacy in exchange for money, gifts or other benefits.
Keep it safe and legal
- No illegal activity, violence, weapons or drugs.
- Don't share other people's photos, numbers or messages without permission.
- Never pretend to be someone else, including with edited or AI-made photos.
- Nothing that harms children, spreads hate between religions, castes or communities, or knowingly spreads false information. The full list the law sets out is in our Terms.
- Breaking the law can lead to legal penalties, and some of it we must report to the police.
Report what's wrong
