You can take a break from DateMate Social or leave for good at any time.
Take a break
- Snooze hides you from Discover for 24 hours, 3 days or a week. Your matches and chats stay. Find it in Discover settings.
- Deactivate hides your profile until you come back and reactivate it. Find it under Account Settings in your menu.
Delete your account
- Log in and open your menu, then Account Settings › Delete Account.
- We send a one-time code to your email or phone to confirm it's really you.
- Enter the code and confirm. Your profile is removed from DateMate Social straight away.
What happens to your data
Your profile, photos, likes and matches are removed from DateMate Social when you delete your account, and identity documents and photo files are deleted at once. Your remaining personal data is deleted or anonymised within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as payment records. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Can't log in?
Use "Forgot password" on the login page, or contact us through the Help centre from the email or phone number on your account, and we will help you delete it.
